This is a reminder that today, January 31st, is the last day for ABRYSVO® administrations for pregnant persons for the 2024-2025 RSV season, in accordance with the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommendations. As the Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) season ends, note the following key points:
- Administration of ABRYSVO® for pregnant persons will not be permitted after Jan. 31.
- Any remaining unexpired VFC doses of ABRYSVO® should be labeled as "DO NOT USE" and stored under the appropriate storage conditions.
- Administering of ABRYSVO® to pregnant persons can resume on Sept. 1, 2025, for the next RSV season.
- Privately purchased ABRYSVO® may be administered to individuals aged 60 and older, regardless of the time of year (although late summer/early fall is preferred), following ACIP recommendations.
- Nirsevimab (Beyfortus®) (for infants and toddlers) can continue to be administered through March 31, 2025.
